As system manager, you can change the system setting without signing in at a console. Simply call the voice mail system and sign in with your personal ID and security code.  After you sign in, you will have a chance to check your messages, change your setup options, or access the system manager options by pressing 1 after the, “Would you like to access system manager options?” prompt.  Menu users can go directly to the system manager conversation by pressing 0 (zero) in the main menu.

 

The system manager conversation consists of five questions or menu options. Each question has a shortcut key (shown next to the question below) to skip to that next of options immediately.

Menu Option/Question	Explanation
4   Would you like to change a mailbox?	Lets you add a new mailbox, see if a mailbox has a security code, delete security codes, and delete a mailbox. If you delete a mailbox, all of the transaction boxes owned by that mailbox are also deleted.
5   Would you like to change the opening greeting?	Lets you switch to or from alternate mode, and change the day, night, or alternated greetings of opening line boxes.
6   Would you like to change the system schedule?	Lets you change the system clock and date settings, and change schedule #1.
7  Would you like to hear system information?	Lets you hear information about the software version you are using; the system key serial number; the available recording time; the system time, date, and mode; the number of active voice mail ports; and the driver and firmware versions.
8  Would you like to change the operator settings?	Lets you assign the extension that the operator’s mailbox or the public fax box is transferred to. Also you can choose to have the public fax box ask for voice annotation, and have a public message left when a fax arrives.
